Welcome back to all students and faculty for the new 2014/15 academic year! The ADW College library welcomes you to browse, learn, join classes, relax, and collaborate in the many spaces available. Our library team of Jaseema Nasar and Najwa Almessabi are joined by a new librarian, Janet Martin. Dr Janet Martin has worked for more years than she would like to admit to as librarian (!), and would like to foster a strong partnership with faculty to improve the educational outcomes of students. Janet is very experienced in teaching research skills to students, in online learning, reading promotion, and research methods. It is intended that we will establish a faculty community of learners, probably at all Abu Dhabi campuses, who will meet regularly to discuss their own research projects, and to improve the research of themselves and their students. It will be a busy but exciting year!
